About
Hi, I'm Jet
With a family background in Singapore, I was born and raised in the Netherlands. Currently I am based in United Kingdom, working as a manager at KPMG in London. Previously I was a designer at Accenture and PwC in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
I graduated from University of Amsterdam with a Master’s degree in Human Centered Multimedia. I went on to pursue further experience abroad in human computer interaction at University of Birmingham (UK).
I am a curious enthusiast in solving complex problems through creative ways. I aspire to combine analytic and strategic skills with visualisation and creative thinking in finding ways to solve problems. I have a special interest in storytelling, data analytics, (cross cultural) user experience design, service design, design thinking , lean UX and agile.
Things that differentiate me as a designer:
- Strong research skill
Having an academic background has put me in a good position to conduct user research independently. My experience working in a research organisation gave me the opportunity to publish a paper as part of my master thesis about human-robot interaction. - Blended skill set as a BA and scrum master
Being certified as a business analyst and scrum master and also having the working experience in those two additional roles has made me a stronger designer. This translates into the ability to make connections and add value across disciplines using a multidisciplinary approach. - Adaptive to different ways of working
Having lived and worked in three different countries (Netherlands, Singapore and UK) and possessing the ability to speak three languages (Dutch, Mandarin and English) makes me an adaptive and openminded designer with the flexibility to work with many different client types.
